Welcome to “Beyond the Grapevine”.

When I was a little girl I loved fairy tales!   No matter how bad things seemed, life always worked out and love always conquered fear.    As I grew up I learned that life didn’t seem to always work the way they did in those “childish dreams”.

The life we interact with on a daily basis reminds me of the grapevine that grows in my backyard.  It is beautiful during the summer and spring but once the grapes are harvested and the cold weather sinks in, the vines wilt, the leaves fall and it’s hard to image that life will ever spring forward again.  The vine is dead by all appearances but every year spring returns and the vines come back to life – like magic!  Well, we know that there is science to back up that “magic” which I won’t go into now but that very same “magic” is working in our lives everyday and I’ve learned that when life seems to fall apart, the Divine is really just putting things back together again.  Now that I’ve lived almost half of my life here on earth I can confidently say that I still believe in the magic of fairy tales….and I hope you do too!

I’ve been married to the same man for over 30 years.  We’ve raised two kids who are now grown and on their own, and we share our empty nest with our small Yorkie.  Our yard is home to a few stray cats, a couple of squirrels and a whole lot of birds.

I love cooking for my family, entertaining our friends and family as often as possible, reading, writing, lifting weights and bike riding in the summer.

When I was about 11 years old I learned how to “listen to God or Infinite Spirit” (or whatever you want to call the all encompassing, divine force) and I began to keep a journal of my conversations with the Divine.  I’m looking forward to sharing some of these entries with you and hope you find this useful in some way.  If so, I’d love to hear from you.

I believe we all have gifts of the spirit that can be developed and I have supported many people on this journey.    I’ve learned that at some point life has a way of “waking us up” to the fact that we are connected to something so much bigger than we are.  When that happens it’s nice to know you aren’t alone.  I’m happy to share this journey with you.

Enjoy the magic!
